My name is Vicky Hsu [she].
I was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan in 1983. After my first college degree I moved to Tucson, Arizona to study biology at University of Arizona in 2004. I changed my major to graphic design and illustration in 2006 and graduated in spring 2008.
I decided to switch my major from medicine, biology and then to art because like to see and create more colorful things than a hospital environment. And I am not ready to buy myself in a hospital for my whole life yet. I am always looking for something that is more exciting and unexpected.
The most exciting thing about art is that I am creating what people can see, more than just what I can see. I love beautiful, colorful and cheerful things. So, you can always feel some enjoyment in most of my works.
I am still preparing my portfolio, because "A portfolio is an artist's lifelong work, and I can never finish it." Artists can always make their portfolio better and better if they work on it more.
I am continually preparing my portfolio and making myself a better artist in the future.
